Transition Coaching

Move to secondary / high school with confidence!

Transition Coaching Transforms the Move to Secondary School

This isn’t just preparation… … it’s a turning point.

Transition Coaching is where worry turns into excitement, uncertainty turns into confidence, and “I’m scared about secondary school” becomes “I can’t wait to start!”

From the moment we begin working together, you feel it:

“I’m actually ready for this.”

🪶 How You’ll Feel

Excited – not terrified, but genuinely looking forward to secondary school

Confident – you know what to expect and how to handle it

Prepared – not just academically, but socially and emotionally

Calm – your worries have been talked through and addressed

Ready – you’ve got strategies for making friends, finding your way, and doing well

For many Year 6 students, this is the first time they:

feel genuinely excited about secondary school instead of just anxious

have a plan for handling the changes ahead

and realize that moving up doesn’t have to be scary—it can be an amazing opportunity

• Develop skills to overcome challenges

• Build emotional intelligence

• Know when and how to ask for help

Start secondary school powerfully:

• Make a great first impression

• Settle in quickly and smoothly

• Feel at home in your new school

• Thrive, not just survive, the transition

🚀 The Bigger Impact (This Is the Bit That Matters)

Students who do Transition Coaching don’t just cope with secondary school

they arrive confident and ready to thrive.

They move from:

• “I’m so scared” “I’m actually excited!”

• “What if I get lost?” “I know how to find my way around”

• “What if no one likes me?” “I have strategies for making friends”

• “It’s going to be so hard” “I’m ready for this challenge”

And that confident start doesn’t just help in September…

it sets the tone for their entire secondary school experience.

🕊️ Fire + Feather Promise

Transition Coaching is built on one powerful belief:

When students feel prepared and confident about big changes…

they navigate those changes successfully and grow from them.

This is not about eliminating all nervousness (some nerves are normal!)…

it’s about transforming anxiety into excitement and fear into readiness.

And once that happens…

everything changes.
